Background / How did you start CrossFit?

I have always been an active person. As a kid I played almost every sport out there until about the 8th grade where I stopped all together. Although I detached myself from playing sports I continued to work out regularly, running through your typical globo/gym bro routines until 2010. I was first introduced to CrossFit from a colleague of mine who was training to enter the marines. He quickly ran me through a few workouts and I was hooked.

How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching?

Although my first introduction to CrossFit Was in 2010 I joined my first CrossFit gym in 2014. As CrossFit and its community became more and more a part of my life, I was encouraged to get my Level 1 Certification in 2019, where I started a coaching internship and coaching later that year.

Why do you love to coach?

I love coaching for many reasons. However, helping athletes of all levels set, achieve, and pass goals is beyond gratifying and a huge reason why I coach.
