Background / How did you start CrossFit?
I played Hockey and Soccer as a child, but my weight was always a bit of a challenge. In my late 20’s my friend invited me to join her as a guest at a CrossFit gym. After that first class, I was hooked and knew I needed more. Through CrossFit, I’ve learned a vital life lesson – fitness isn’t just a phase, it’s a way of life that should blend into every area of my existence.
How long have you been doing CrossFit / Coaching?
For the past 11 years, I’ve been a part of the CrossFit community, carrying a Level 1 certificate for 7 of those years. However, my active coaching endeavors have spanned a 3-year period.
Why do you love to coach?
There are many different reasons why I love to coach, but the primary reason is witnessing members enhance their confidence and shift towards a more health-conscious way of living.
